The ‘Yorkshire Mark’ is a trademarked ‘Made in Yorkshire’ brand which celebrates and promotes the provenance of Yorkshire’s food and drink to consumers.
Our Producers make the products. Our Champions help people find and enjoy them. Together, we make it easier for customers to discover Yorkshire food and drink and the people behind it.
Available for an annual subscription, the brand can be used by independent producers, manufacturers and related businesses who create, sell or support the wealth of fantastic locally produced food and drink.

Why Join Us
Your Yorkshire provenance deserves to be seen. The Yorkshire Mark gives Producers a recognisable way to celebrate it on packaging and across their marketing. For Champions, it’s a way to show your pride in the Yorkshire food and drink you stock, serve or promote.
Membership also connects your business with a wider family. Customers can find you in our directory, follow your news through our social channels and explore Yorkshire products through our online shop. You can get to know other members, share ideas and find opportunities to work together.

You make food or drink in Yorkshire and are proud of its Yorkshire provenance.
For just £100 per year, producer membership gives you a licence to use the Yorkshire Mark provenance brand on your products, packaging and marketing.
We showcase your products, and help to tell your story about the business and people behind them.
Champion
You stock, serve or promote Yorkshire food and drink through a shop, deli, café, restaurant, hotel or another business.
For just £100 per year Champion membership gives you a licence to use the Yorkshire Mark Champion identity on your premises and in your marketing. Show customers that you are proud to support Yorkshire producers and help them find what you have to offer.
We help to promote your business, the producers you work with and create opportunities to share your story.

What’s included in your £100 annual membership?
Your licence to use the Yorkshire Mark brand
Receive permission to use the registered Yorkshire Mark identity for your membership type.
Producers and Champions have distinct versions that show their different connections to Yorkshire food and drink.
Put the mark where customers will see it. Your membership includes a starter pack of product stickers, window stickers, postcards and digital brand assets and guidelines for your website, social media and other marketing.
The Yorkshire Mark shop and directory
Our online shop gives consumers a place to explore Yorkshire food and drink. If you have products you would like to feature, talk to us about how shop listings work.

Frequently asked questions
Can I put the Yorkshire Mark on my product packaging?
Producer members can use the provenance mark on products and packaging that meet the brand guidelines. If you are unsure how the mark applies to a product, talk to us before printing.
Can I join if I sell Yorkshire products but don’t make them?
Yes. Champion membership is for businesses that stock, serve or promote Yorkshire food and drink. You’ll receive the Champion identity to use on your premises and in your marketing.
What brand materials will I receive?
Your membership includes the relevant digital brand assets, stickers and a window sticker, along with guidance on using the mark.
Will you promote my business on social media?
We’ll introduce you with a welcome post and share relevant member news to our Stories. We also tell member stories through Yorkshire Mark content, so keep us updated with news and photographs.
Will my products be in the online shop?
Producer members can speak to us about listing their products. We’ll explain how the shop works and agree the details with you.
