Cooper King Distillery is a sustainable family-owned gin and whisky distillery located in Sutton-on-the-Forest. The distillery produces a range of sustainable spirits created using innovative distillation techniques, locally-sourced botanicals and Yorkshire-grown wheat and barley.
With their sustainable ethos in mind, they have created England's first Carbon-Negative gin as every 700ml bottle of their Dry or Herb Gin removes 1kg of CO₂e from the atmosphere and plants 1 square metre of native UK woodland.
Located just ten miles north of the historic city of York, the distillery sits nestled between the rolling contours of the Howardian Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the rugged Yorkshire Dales National Park. Distillery tours are available.
