Wicstun Distillery opens new tourist attraction in Market Weighton!

Yorkshire Mark member, Wicstun Distillery is proud to announce the opening of their new distillery in Market Weighton which is open to the public for distillery tours and tasting events.
Wicstun Distillery began its journey three years ago as a lockdown project in a family kitchen before progressing to a shed—the UK's smallest bonded distillery. After seeing a growth in sales, it was soon time to move beyond the shed.
Founder Jago Packer, a former Army Officer who spent the last five years working as an electrician, expressed pride in the family's accomplishments with limited resources over such a short period.
"We are excited to be able to invite people to visit our distillery and see how we make our spirits," said Jago Packer.
Lisa Packer, Jago's wife, and Wicstun Distillery Director, shared their journey, noting the overwhelming interest from visitors eager to see the distillery.
Located on the outskirts of Market Weighton at Unit 1 Lambert Enterprise Park, York Road (YO43 3RJ), the distillery offers a glimpse into the craft of spirit-making.
"We have had hundreds of people asking if they can come and visit the distillery, but unfortunately we had to disappoint them due to our lack of space in the shed. This has all changed with our new premises which give the space and the facilities to welcome guests," Lisa Packer added.
